Job Duties:

(1) Laying sod; (2) Mowing grass; (3) Weeding; (4) Trimming bushes and trees; (5) Watering plant material; (6) Fertilizing turf; (7) Installing/maintaining sprinklers; (8) Raking leaves; and (9) Performing such other related Landscaping and Groundskeeping Worker tasks, as assigned, as per OEWS/SOC Code 37-3011.

Special Requirements:

[No education or experience required.] (1) Must be able to perform physical activities, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials using static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. (2) Must understand basic landscaping terminology. (3) Must be able, willing, and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. (4) Must be willing to work outdoors exposed to weather. (5) Must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat. (6) Must be willing to work in a drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. (7) Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire. There is a possible background check post hire at employer's expense.
