Job Duties:
To season and cook food according to recipes, manager’s instructions, and/or personal experience; prepare food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets; maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility; ensure organized and clean storage areas for all food; ensure that all food items are properly handled and stored at the conclusion of the shift; properly rotate inventory; maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars; work with manager to create specials and other menu variations; clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots; maintain dish room and dish machine; restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans; remove all garbage; break down, clean and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift; keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized; assist with cleaning other areas of restaurant as requested; perform various other duties as assigned. Ability to communicate effectively; prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen; exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks. No minimum education or prior work experience is required. On-the-job training provided.

No minimum education or prior work experience is required. On-the-job training provided. Work Schedule: Employer offers at least 40 hours of work per week. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday with two shifts available (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).
