Job Duties:
Fabricate, assemble, install, and hydro test process piping systems for offshore drilling jackets, skids, and decks. Adhere and comply with all company and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Check for and repair leaks in cable, hoses and connections. Read and interpret industry blueprints, including isometric, section, detail, equipment, pipe support, and plan drawings. Fabricate pipe spools and supports. Lay out and install equipment, such as vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and equipment supports. Hydro test piping systems. Operate machines, use come-a-longs, chain falls, and other industry tools and equipment, and install, use, and remove stop plates, dogs, and pad eyes. Install pipe spools and supports on offshore hookups, decks, jackets, skids, and plants. Use crane signals and perform own rigging. Read and derive measurements, dimensions, and quantity of material needed to fabricate a structure. Climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height, and in confined spaces. Night shift: 5:30 pm to 3:30am. hours and days may vary. 40-56 hours per week.

A high school diploma or GED and 2 years experience as a pipefitter in an industrial environment. Ability to pass a blueprint reading test. Ability to perform basic pipe fitting functions and processes. Ability to complete background check, drug and alcohol testing.
