Job Duties:

Operate or tend washing or dry-cleaning machines to wash or dry-clean industrial, hotel, casino, or household articles, such as room linens, cloth garments, blankets, draperies, linens, rugs, and carpets. Includes inspecting, storage, weighing, folding, pressing, and delivery. Shifts vary and range from 6am – 2pm; 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; 8am-4pm, 10a-6p, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; 1:00 - 9:00; 3pm – 11pm. Open 7 days per week. Workdays and shift times will vary. Shifts vary based on business levels, occupancy, and scheduled events. Holiday and weekend shifts are required.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items. Must be able to be on feet for 8 hours shift, must be able to respond to visual and aural cues, must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 20 pounds. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke. All applicants (US workers and foreign workers) must meet hiring standards of Harrahs: must have a criminal background check and drug test prior to offer of employment.
