- Job Duties:
- Perform the following duties under the direct supervision/instruction of skilled Carpenters: use, supply, or hold materials or tools such as hammers, drills, tape measures, levels, clamps, sanders, and manual and electric saws. Align and hold lumber for fastening and cutting. Assist in joining together lumber with screws, nails, or glue. Assist carpenters to construct and repair structures made of wood, such as parapet roofs. Load/unload materials needed at worksites. Clean tools, equipment, and work area, as needed. Other related Carpenter Helper activities as per SOC/OES 47-3012 (onetonline.org).
