- Job Duties:
- The primary role of a Dock Hand at Jenny Lake Boating is exemplary customer service. It is our goal to improve our visitors' vacation by any means. It is our job as stewards of the Park to improve their day and enable everyone to experience the serenity of Jenny Lake and Grand Teton National Park. Practical daily responsibilities and duties include; Selling boat tickets Operating a cash register Checking people in for boat tours Renting canoes and kayaks Landing boats on the west dock Participating in the JLB ambassador program (communicating with guests while in line, being available for questions and attending to visitors needs) Walking the trails surrounding Jenny Lake to provide directions for hikers Additional duties may include; Assisting boat captains in various menial tasks i.e. loading passengers on a vessel, holding boats while passenger board and counting the amount of people on a captains boat
