- Job Duties:
- Full-time nanny needed for 5 and 8 year old children. Work hours will vary weekly due to parents' dynamic work schedules. Three days per week, the work hours will be 5:30-9AM and then again at 2-7PM. Twice per week, the hours will be 2-9PM. Occasionally weekend, holiday, and overnight child care is needed. Every week there will be half a day off with a consecutive full day off, but these off days will vary dependent on the childcare needs for the week. In case one of the children is sick, then the nanny will need to stay with the child until one of the parents can come home from work. Therefore, flexibility with the work schedule is needed. The rest of the week’s schedule will accommodate for this change and ensure the week’s total hours will not surpass 40 hours. The nanny should have a passion for working with children. Patience and communication are needed to understand and meet the children’s emotional, physical, and mental needs. The nanny should be able to perform light cooking for breakfast, packed lunch boxes, and dinner. Cleanliness and organizational skills are needed to keep the playroom, children’s rooms, and other commonly used rooms in a tidy order. Driving experience of more than two years is required as well as owning a car. Punctuality is required. A stipend for gasoline used to commute to the children’s afternoon activities will be provided.
