Job Duties:

Receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from greenhouse, nursery, stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. May operate power equipment to fill orders. Watering, weeding, moving, and otherwise caring for plants purchased for resale in retail nursery and greenhouse. Prepare plants for delivery to customers. Assisting with delivering and installing orders of plants purchased at customer addresses. Sell and deliver plants and flowers to customers. Loading and unloading trucks. Clean shelves, counters, and tables. Moving stock. Transplant or pot and label plants at retail nursery. Move containerized shrubs, plants, and trees. Tie and bunch flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees, wrap their roots, and pack them into boxes to fill orders. The retail nursery purchases plants for resale only and does not grow any of their own products. The plants are cared for only from purchase to sale. Assisting with fall property clean-up, including leaf removal at customer locations.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50LBS. MUST BE ABLE TO USE REPITITIVE MOVEMENTS, EXTENSIVE PUSHING/PULLING, EXTENSIVE WALKING AND FREQUENT STOOPING. SCHEDULE VARIES, OVERTIME AVAILABLE AS NEEDED. Higher pay and/or other incentives available based on performance.
