- Job Duties:
- Duties may include: Pick up debris, sweep, scrub, vacuum, steam, remove stains, and mop stairs, windowsills, ledges, carpet, floors, loading docks, escalators and elevators daily/nightly throughout entire building, empty, replace liners, and clean all trash receptacles, ash trays, etc., take out trash and load in specific garbage pick up areas, clean glass, doors and chrome in public areas, maintain cleaning equipment which includes: emptying vacuums, cleaning hoses and brushes, changing/emptying water, etc., clean and maintain restrooms, moves and resets chairs, tables, and other items relating to setup per events, refresh, check, or place water pitchers/dispenser on tables/in rooms for functions and events, refresh meeting rooms during events, clean up after events, taking out trash, moving dishes to dishwashing area, and resetting rooms/event spaces & other related Janitor activities as per SOC/OES 37-2011 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Multiple possible shifts: 8:00AM-4:30PM or 4:30PM-12:00AM. Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM or 4:30PM-12:00AM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Shift times are dependent on event schedules. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
