Job Duties:

Assist with the packaging of produce in a climate-controlled production facility with rooms kept at 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit. Tasks include: dumping product from bins onto processing and packing lines, handling, lifting, and securing packaging materials in an open air warehouse, packing clamshells of product into shipping boxes, ensure presence of label/apply label if missing, stack finished product on pallets for shipping, and cleaning containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools, sort fruit for processing or packing into clamshells. Must maintain a safe work area. Entry level; requires supervision.

Special Requirements:

Job requires working frequent bending, grabbing, pulling, and lifting, to include repetitive overhead lifting. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Work hours are 8:00AM-3:30PM M-F and 8:00AM-1:30PM Sat. Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
