Job Duties:

Provide live-in care for foreign minor child adjusting to living and going to school in U.S.; Respond appropriately to mental, emotional, or developmental issues of child; Ensure home environment that is safe and peaceful; Maintain safety and sanitary standards; Care for child when employer is away from home on business meetings; Provide structured group activities that are educational in nature; Prepare and supervise meals, snacks, and proper nutrition; Provide physical activities as well as rest and playtime; Promote growth and development of child through educational activities; Promote literacy through story-telling, reading, song, and dance; Enforce behavioral expectations, including consistently stating expectations for mannerly conduct; Ensure dietary standards; Limit child's screen time; Spend time outdoors with children; Emphasize self-driven learning-focused activities; Ensure clean up routines as part of wrapping up activities; Meal and snack preparation (using indicated/labeled ingredients, as described in care guide); Light household cleaning for child only, including washing dishes associated with child's meals, activities and general straightening and spot cleaning after kid as needed; and sweep of wood floors and vacuum rugs once per week.
