***RFI Response*** It is important to clarify that we selected 'No' to supervision in Item F.a.3. This is because the Electrical Engineer will not have the authority to hire, fire, or recommend promotions to any employees. Their role will primarily be offering expertise and consulting with other employees as they perform their tasks. ***Original F.a.2*** The Electrical Engineer will lead a 10-month project focused on the automation of an aluminum ingot stacking system for the manufacture of aluminum ingot. The project includes the integration of two robots, a weighing line, laser marking system, and automatic strapping equipment. The successful candidate will oversee the programming of various conveyors, robots, and control systems to ensure seamless operation and integration within the aluminum manufacturing plant. Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for industrial purposes. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards or specifications. Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks. Confer with engineers, contractors, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects. Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment. Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Supervise or train project team members, as necessary. Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment or major repairs. Develop software to control electrical systems. Plan layout of electric power generating plants or distribution lines or stations. Conduct field surveys or study maps, graphs, diagrams, or other data to identify and correct power system problems.
