Job Duties:

Provide cleanup and winding down duties at end of season, realization of winterization duties includes: maintain and clean central mixers, silos, washout pits so they are free from buildup and accumulation of dirt, debris, dust, and other obstructions at end of season and prevent major buildup at central plant facilities, aggregate silos, and ready mix trucks by loading transports with dirt, debris, material, and dust for removal to predetermined dump sites. Clean hardened concrete outside of central mixer plants and perform basic visual checks on equipment and tools for needed repairs (rust, dents, obviously broken equipment) and check for water leaks in silos, bringing issues to the attention of crew leaders to schedule maintenance. In addition also tasked with removal of residual concrete from inside ready-mix drums and performing other such tasks and duties, as assigned.

Special Requirements:

(1) Must be able to perform physical activities, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials using static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. (2) Must be able, willing, and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. (3) Must be willing to work outdoors exposed to weather. (4) Must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or humidity (5) Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire. (6) Must be able to perform physical work, cleaning and clearing dirt and debris on the ground and over 6ft off the ground on silos and central mixers.
