Job Duties:

Responsible for product preparation including food and bakery items. Duties include: reporting to Kitchen Manager; fulfilling daily production plan for ovens, kitchen, pizza oven, and bar; keeping track of traceability and food waste; ensuring correct rotation of products by tagging all products with expiration dates; organizing and keeping inventory; cleaning equipment and area; following health and safety regulations and any other standard operating practices. Work will begin 10/01/2024 and end 7/31/2025. Employee schedule will vary and shifts may rotate. Worksite location may rotate between the following two locations: 5407 Belt Line Road, Dallas TX 75254-1501 (San Martin Belt Line Rd) to 3124 McKinney Ave, Dallas TX 75204 (San Martín McKinney Ave). All required tools and equipment will be provided at no cost to workers. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Typically, paychecks will be issued either Thursday or Friday each week, but may be issued every two weeks rather than weekly. If required, overtime pay will be paid at time and a half ($13.81* 1.5) / $20.72 per overtime hour. As applicable, the employer will reimburse in the first work week all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, as mandated and not exceeding the mandated reimbursements. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or place where worker originally departed to work, except if worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Transportation payment or reimbursement will the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances. Daily subsistence at rate of $15.88 / day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. 91688 / 519 7148

Special Requirements:

Requires 3 months experience as kitchen assistant, pizza chef, baker, barista or similar occupation. Requires 3 months working in restaurant/commercial kitchen. Must have the ability to use tools that are standard with a commercial kitchen; must be able to understand and follow instructions and safety rules. Knowledge of structure and content of English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
