Job Duties:

Responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. Will erect and set forms for concrete structures, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings, including concrete tilt-wall forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures. Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for the construction of concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated concrete slabs, elevator cores, stairways, etc. Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations and may aid in installing reinforcing steel. Set and erect forms using a wide variety of materials and forming systems. Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob and/or carpenter’s level. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. Communicate with Crew Task Lead, Field Lead, or Project Lead regarding any problems arising, materials required, or any safety hazards identified. Ensure equipment is all in safe working condition. May help signal concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring. Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project. May operate heavy equipment as required. Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines. Assist with placement and finishing of concrete as needed. Shift s range from 4:00 am - 12:00 pm, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Monday - Sunday, 40+ hours per week. Will work weekends, split and rotate shifts.

Special Requirements:

Must have 1 year of Concrete Construction Carpentry Experience. Must have experience using concrete tools, equipment and machines. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to work at heights multiple levels above ground. Must have ability to regularly travel to various construction sites in the following Florida counties: Duval, Baker, Clay, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns
