- Job Duties:
- Trim and thin deadwood dormant ornamental hard and softwood trees to promote vigorous growth. The crews use pole saws, pole pruners, hand saws, chain saws and a limb shredder/chipper in the course of their pruning activities. Pruning consist of removing limbs to improve the health and appearance of trees. Most of the ornamental trees are 15-25’ tall that are pruned early fall through winter depending on the tree and degree of dormancy.
