Job Duties:

Workers will greet guests when entering the restaurant, seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pull out chairs, and place a clean menu in front of guests. Workers will assist servers when needed and monitor dining room for seating availability. Workers may be asked to prepare and serve food and beverage offerings within a coffee house setting. Workers must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests. Workers will deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers in a coffee house setting. Workers will clear and disinfect tables before, during, and after service and ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris, or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently, and effectively. Workers will set up and break down buffet according to time allotted, secure all serving vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, and bread knives as directed by manager.
