Job Duties:
Workers will maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Food Runner, and Dining Room Attendant services. Workers must have complete knowledge of service times and menu. Workers must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers. Workers will food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers. Workers will always inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager. Workers will clear and disinfect tables before, during, and after service. Workers will think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions Workers will demonstrate ability to perform the job functions with minimal supervision. Workers will ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effective. Workers will complete all side duties as assigned. Workers will minimize breakage. Workers will set up and breakdown of buffet according to time allotted. Workers will perform maintenance and replenishment of buffet items. Ensure items are full at all times, clean and presentable. Workers will secure all serving vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed by manager. Workers will complete closing duties.

Special Requirements:
A minimum of twelve months of food runner or dining room attendant experience is preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, with the ability to answer guest questions and describe menu items. Must demonstrate the ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Must demonstrate the ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department. Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills. Must be TABC certified, or have the ability to obtain a valid TABC permit. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in an indoor/outdoor environment. Must be able to perform repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs.
