Job Duties:

PREPARE AND LOAD LIQUID SUGAR TANKERS FOR SHIPMENT, MAKE BATCHES AS DIRECTED PER PRODUCTION SCHEDULE, INCLUDING HANDLING INGREDIENTS IN DIFFERENT PACK SIZES, DRY AND LIQUID FORM PROPERLY MEASURE AND ADD INGREDIENTS TO THE BATCH ACCORDING TO THE MIXING INSTRUCTIONS. CONDUCT MONITORING OF BATCHES USING BASIC ANALYTICAL EQUIPMENT (PH METER, THERMOMETER, REFRACTOMETER), COMPLETE QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTING ON GOODS AND PRODUCTS, ORGANIZE INVENTORY IN AN EASY-TO-ACCESS PROCESS, MAINTAIN THE QUALITY AND UPKEEP OF WAREHOUSE EQUIPMENT INCLUDING MACHINERY, CONFORM TO ALL FOOD SAFETY, QUALITY AND HUMAN SAFETY STANDARDS.

Special Requirements:

Experience in the food industry is preferred, sugar or sweeteners industry is a plus. Must display reasonable mechanical aptitude to work with and understand processing equipment. Must have reliable attendance. Work may require bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crouching; ability to receive detailed information through verbal and written communication in either English or Spanish; ability to express or exchange ideas through the spoken word either in English or Spanish; ability to lift to 50lbs. Use of both hands is required. The work is primarily indoors, with some work to be performed outdoors.
