Job Duties:

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints. Experience with exposed aggregate & stamped concrete, and bobcat and power buggy experience are a plus. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Normal schedule Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm. Shift includes 1 hour unpaid break time. Work on Saturday may be required. Workdays, hours and shift time my vary depending on weather conditions. Basic rate of pay $27.59 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $41.39 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimum 3 months concrete finisher experience required. Workers are subject to post incident/injury drug testing, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work on Saturday when necessary. Experience with exposed aggregate and stamped concrete preferred but not required. Bobcat and power buggy experience preferred but not required. Applicant must complete an employment application. Required uniform provided at no charge to the worker.
