Job Duties:

Facilitate food service. Clean tables, remove dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes. Supply service bar with food, and serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons. Run cash registers. May serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths. Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies. Training: The employer will provide on-the-job training during the first 4 weeks of employment. Training will be paid and aims to maintain consistency, improve customer satisfaction, reduce employee turnover, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Special Requirements:

Must obtain food handlers permit within 30 days of hire. 3 months of experience in the restaurant industry as a Back Waiter, Busser, or equivalent position is required. Must be able to speak, read and follow verbal directions in English; use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing; keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position; quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects; exert yourself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath; and bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Work Schedule: Various 5-day shifts between Monday through Sunday, 8 hours a day, between 6 a.m. to 2:30p.m. and 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Employer will not offer housing but may assist in locating housing. Such employer-assisted housing is voluntary and employees may locate their own housing.
