- Job Duties:
- Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul small engines used to power recreational sporting equipment and related equipment. Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used, and maintain repair and maintenance records. Test and inspect engines to determine malfunctions, locate missing and broken parts of the vehicle and/or engine, and verify repairs, using diagnostic instruments. Repair or replace defective parts of the vehicle, using hand tools. Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and oiling parts and tuning ignition systems. Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
