- Job Duties:
- Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety. Schedule work for crews, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability, or weather conditions. Direct activities of workers who perform duties, such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements. Train workers in landscaping tasks. On top of supervisory responsibilities, a supervisor will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment, sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.

- Special Requirements:
- Requires six months of previous landscape experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 90 days of hire. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
