Job Duties:

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mulching, aerating, weeding, sod laying, mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, planting flowers/grasses/shrubs/trees, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, blowing debris, leaf blowing, bagging leaves and grass, cut and install sod, and assist with installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Assist with sprinkler installation and maintenance (use hand shovel to dig trench approximately 6 inches wide and 12 inches deep, after lines are laid). Load/unload/move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain, clean and repair equipment/tools when not in use. Entry level; requires supervision. On-the-job training available.

Must lift/carry 50 lbs. when necessary and frequently stand, kneel, and bend. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire post-accident. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
