- Job Duties:
- Job Purpose: Supports operations by assisting heavy equipment operators with grading and digging. Assists pipefitters with moving materials, digging and miscellaneous labor-intensive tasks. Training will be provided on the job site. Duties: Organizes work by checking work schedule. Prepare work site by obtaining and delivering equipment, tools, supplies, and materials work for job foreman and pipefitters. Maintains clean and safe work site by removing scrap; erecting barriers; disposing of hazardous materials; following safety rules and procedures; wearing personal protective equipment. Dig trenches and back fill using shovels and compaction equipment. Returns items to storage inventory by loading, moving, and unloading items. Supports work processes by inspecting, preparing, sorting, digging, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, and loading materials. Maintains great communication between leadership and fellow workers. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
