Job Duties:

Assigned to our construction department, which offers full service pool construction through 10-step process: 1) Design Consultation, 2) Layout, 3) Excavate, 4) Plumb, 5) Structural Steel, 6) Gunite, 7) Tile Preparation, 8) Deck Construction, 9) Surface Finishing, and 10) Add Water. Pool renovations also included. Specific duties are below: • Holding or carrying 2 inch pipe and fittings. Digging trenches with shovel for plumbing. (7%) • Help with prepping pools for plaster which entails scraping the pool down with a flat shovel and pressure washing the inside, vacuuming out and cleaning any debris. (7%) • Assisting pool renovation saw cutting under tile with a 4-5 inch grinder tool. (10%) • Assisting with pool renovation to chip old plaster to flare into wall returns, wall lights, and main drain heads to adhere new plaster. (15%) • Assisting with pressure washing plaster and applying multicoat adhesive so new plaster adheres to new plaster. (14%) • Assisting excavation laying out the pool using measuring tapes and measuring off from house to pool location. Using tape measure. (5%) • Help lay out pool and hammer in stakes. (5%) • Assist in checking depths and raking out floor of pool for level and smooth transitions. (5%) • Occasionally applying interior finish to pool surface, steps, and benches. (20%) • Occasionally apply interior finish to pool walls and floors. (7%) • Clean work areas and equipment before and after work completed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to carry bags of salt or pool materials that need to be lifted into a truck or carried onto the job site. (5%)
