- Job Duties:
- Housekeepers will be responsible for ensuring all sanitation guidelines are followed when cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, linen, laundry and public areas at DNC Parks & Resorts at Sequoia property. These include vacuuming floors, dusting, emptying wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishing supplies per housekeeping procedures, disinfecting bathrooms, and ensure all linen, laundry rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized. Conducts inspections of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards. Interacts on occasion with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms, and assists guests as needed (such as by providing them with on-hand room supplies including towels or toiletries). Reports maintenance repair problems to supervisor and ensures all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, carry, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 8:30am to 3:30pm.
