- Job Duties:
- Groundskeepers will be responsible for maintaining property and golf course grounds using hand and power tools and equipment. Will perform any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation. Groundskeepers will also be responsible for other grounds and landscaping maintenance and improvements as needed, which include putting in and taking out boat docks at the beginning and end of the season, raking the beach, emptying the beach garbage cans into the dumpster, maintaining all of the common ground areas of the resort, watering flowers and shrubs, planting shrubs, weeding flower boxes and flower beds, and splitting firewood for the guests. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am to 12:00pm; 8:00am to 3:00pm; and 6:00am to 1:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See job description for additional details.
