- Job Duties:
- The Irrigation Installer position is responsible for installing and servicing residential and commercial sprinkler and irrigation systems throughout Lincoln, Nebraska, and the surrounding communities. Specifically, the Irrigation Installer will install and service sprinkler heads and valve boxes in predetermined areas using a variety of hand tools, such as shovels, pic-axes, power augers, wood axes, dykes/crimpers, pipe cutters, channel locks, cordless tools including but not limited to 1/2” drills, sawsall’s, and grinders. The Irrigation Installer position operates skid loaders, mini excavators, and different Ditch Witch equipment models to include 255 and 410 on an as needed basis. The Irrigation Installer position will be trained on how to solder copper and operate a MAP GAS torch. Training will happen on transit and transit stick.
