Job Duties:

As truss assemblers, workers will work as part of a team responsible for assembling wood trusses for commercial and residential buildings. Workers will use a component saw to cut out the truss, assemble the wood truss on the table, use hammers to apply steel gusset plates at all joints, using a large press to fasten steel gussets, according to work order and blueprint specifications. Workers will stack, and band together finished wood trusses and lumber to be prepared for delivery by using a forklift to load and upload lumber and trusses onto delivery trucks. Training will be provided. Workers may be asked to drive a company vehicle to transport workers to and from the worksite or to other specific locations deemed necessary by management if they hold a Minnesota Driver's License. Special Requirements:

Three (3) months of wall panel construction experience requirement. Six (6) months of assembly or related experience. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs 75 yds. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, postaccident, and/or other random drug testing. Workers may be asked to pass on communications between English-speaking associates to non-English-speaking associates and vice versa as needed by management.
