Job Duties:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Feed Packer to join our team at our feed mix facility. The Feed Packer will be responsible for packaging and preparing animal feed products for shipment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Feed Packer will operate packaging equipment to fill bags with various feed mixes. They will accurately weigh and label completed feed bags according to company standards. Loading packed feed products onto pallets or carts for distribution is also part of the role. Following all safety protocols and company guidelines during the packing process is essential. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety is required. The Feed Packer will operate hand tools and packaging machinery as needed to complete tasks. They will keep accurate records of materials used and packed items. Effective communication with team members and supervisors is important to ensure smooth workflow. Assisting with inventory management by counting stock levels and reporting discrepancies may also be required. No prior experience or high school diploma is necessary for this position. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to our team. The ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and stand for extended periods is necessary. The ability to follow verbal and written instructions is important, along with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic math skills for weighing and measuring feed accurately are also needed. This position requires working in a feed production environment with exposure to dust, varying temperatures, and noise levels. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on production needs.

No prior education or experience required. Terms and Conditions of Employment: $17.24/hr, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm and be available to work Saturdays-Sundays if needed, overtime is $25.86/hr. Our work day starts at 7:00am and typically goes until 4:00pm. The workers must be available for 12-hour shifts as needed. Basic Wage Rates above $17.24 will require past experience at Quality Plus Feeds Inc. and more responsibilities. Performance and year-end bonuses are available but not guaranteed. Employer provides on-job-training in the proper use & maintenance of power tools & equipment. Workers needed to begin work 4/1/25-12/15/25.
