- Job Duties:
- As a carpenter helper, the worker will perform duties requiring less skill. The duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning the work area and equipment as directed by the carpenter or the project manager. Under the direction of the carpenter or the project manager, the worker will assist with framing tasks such as installing floors, exterior and interior walls, cabinets, trim, and windows for new construction projects. The worker will use, supply, or hold materials or tools such as hammers, speed squares, drills, saws, and screwdrivers. The worker will clean up worksites as needed. The workers will receive on-the-job training as needed.
