Job Duties:

Set up, operate, and tend to wood furniture production machinery, including panel saws, nesters, straight-line edge banders, contour banders and OMALs. Utilize various processes and equipment to cut, manufacture, or move wood product parts and components while meeting all necessary specifications and quality control standards. Perform quality checks by inspecting and measuring workpieces. May operate CNC equipment. Understand, communicate, and interpret instructions, work documentation, policies and practices. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure productions is as efficient and safe as possible. Maintain clean, safe working environment.

Special Requirements:

Extensive standing and repetitive motions; occasional lifting of 25 to 50 pounds; bending, twisting and stooping. Schedule and shifts vary based on production volume; typical shifts include 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 3:00 am; typical workweek is Monday through Thursday; Friday and/or Saturday work required when necessary due to production volumes.
