Job Duties:

Workers will place shrimp on tables for de-heading, peeling; deveining; sorting and placing into containers; pack with ice; place containers onto pallets and wrap for shipping; dispose of shrimp shells in designated area(s); lift/carry up to 50 lbs. 10 days on the job training provided. *Following is an expanded job description regarding load/unloading duties: Workers will assist with unloading raw product (shrimp) from boats or trucks and place in processing area or onto tables to be processed. Workers will also assist with loading finished products into refrigerators or freezers for storage. Workers will assist with loading finished products onto trucks for shipment.

Special Requirements:

Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Work extended daily hours and weekends when necessary. Employer paid drug test is Upon Suspicion (Post Employment). Dehead 30 pounds of shrimp per hour; peel and devein 14 pounds of shrimp per hour after 10 days on the job training. No infectious diseases; seafood allergies may be fatal.
