Job Duties:

As a groundskeeper, the worker will mow, weeding, and mulch leaves while maintaining plants and trees. The worker will also be responsible for trimming hedges and shrubs, laying sod in landscapes and gardens. Using hand tools like garden shears, shovels, etc., and power tools such as edgers, zero-turn mowers, etc, the worker will mow and remove weeds and dead plants, ensuring proper upkeep of lawns and green spaces. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment and tools into work vehicles. If needed, the workers will apply herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides to plants or soil to prevent pests and diseases. Additional tasks may include planting lawns, adding fertilizers when necessary, or installing lighting and sprinkler systems.

Special Requirements:

One month of mowing, groundskeeping, or related experience. Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs. for 75 yards. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. In the event of an accident, the worker must be able to pass an employer-paid drug test. May occasionally work on Saturdays. Ability to operate and maintain mow equipment. Worker must be able to work under conditions ranging from the sun, heat, wind, cold, snow, rain, etc
