Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** Facilitate food service in the restaurants of Inn at Bay Harbor. Clean tables; remove dirty dishes; replace soiled table linens; set tables; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes; supply service bar with food; and serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons. Deliver food orders to customers’ tables and help the waitstaff and kitchen staff. Ensure food orders are delivered to the correct tables quickly and accurately. Check that guests have everything they need and bring additional food items. Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to relay information about food orders, ingredient availability, and special requests. Maintain cleanliness. Keep the expo line clean and organized. Help clear and clean tables. Expedite carryout and catering orders. Monitor supplies and replenish condiments and supplies as needed. Ensure food safety. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Provide excellent customer service and address guest needs. The Food Server Assistants will not take food or beverage orders. May perform other job duties pursuant to 35-9011, Dining Room and Cafeteria Attendants and Bartender Helpers. ***Original F.a.2*** Deliver food orders to customers’ tables and help the waitstaff and kitchen staff. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 7-hour shifts between 6:00 am and 12:00 am. 5 days per week, Sun-Sat. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies and must be pre-approved. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary. F.b.8a: 5% end of season loyalty bonus on all wages. F.b.9: Wage is $11.00 per hour base pay and overtime is 1.5 times this wage, plus tips. The actual hourly rate earned (computed as a combination of tips received and base hourly rate) will be no less than the $13.74 per hour for regular hours and $20.61 per hour for overtime. This calculation shall be performed on a weekly basis. F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Food Server Assistants will perform duties at the following locations owned by Inn at Bay Harbor: 3600 Village Harbor Drive, Bay Harbor, MI 49770 5800 Coastal Ridge Drive, Bay Harbor, MI 49770 F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from employer-provided housing to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.
