Job Duties:

Work in the oil and gas industry in Western North Dakota to reclaim old oil sites for farming use. Work to clear the oil site pads, smooth the ground, and put the land back into its original state so land owners can use the land for farming or as pasture land. Remove gravel, lay top soil, and flatten out land. Maintain roads to and from oil sites and maintain oil site pads. Build new oil site pads by removing top soil from a field or pasture and putting it in a pile. Then leveling the area, and haul in gravel and level. May operate any of the five (5) different pieces of equipment: Payloader, Road Grader, Skid Steer, Bulldozer, and Scraper. The tasks of each equipment piece include: • Payloader: Load gravel, top soil and under burden into semi-trailers. Unload pipe and heavy objects off semi-trailers. • Road Grader: Blade gravel roads and oil sites to smooth out gravel, fill in potholes and smooth out washboards on gravel roads. • Skid steer: Mow grass and weeds on outskirts of oil site. Smooth out gravel and pick rocks with skid steer bucket. • Bulldozer: On oil site, push gravel up into a pile so semis can haul out. Push under burden on oil site to get land back to original grade. • Scraper: Scrape top soil and stock pile to build and level pad for oil site location. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 9-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies and must be pre-approved. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary. F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Material Handlers will perform job duties at 6115 Highway 8 South, Stanley, ND 58784 and at multiple worksites within the area of intended employment, including the following counties: Mountrail, Williams, McKenzie, and Dunn. F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from 6115 Highway 8 South, Stanley, ND 58784 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.
