Job Duties:

Safely and effectively remove hardened concrete buildup from the interior of ready mix drums using a 40lb jackhammer and other specialized tools. Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while working in confined spaces and hot conditions. Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Inspect and maintain all chipping equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operations. Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor promptly. Assist in setting up the worksite, including securing the area, establishing safety perimeters, and positioning equipment for optimal chipping performance. Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth and efficient chipping operations. Coordinate with drivers and other personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Thoroughly clean and clear the worksite after each chipping job to ensure the area is safe and ready for the next task. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including the volume of concrete chipped and any relevant notes for future reference. Ensure high-quality chipping services, paying attention to detail and precision while maintaining the integrity of the ready mix drum.
