Job Duties:
Eight (8) positions available for temporary full-time Ground Persons to begin working April 1, 2025 and continue through December 1, 2025, working 40 hours weekly during a day shift from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday earning $19.13 hourly or higher, with overtime offered regularly at $28.70 hourly or higher. No education or prior experience or training required, including no on-the-job training needed, as clear and simple instructions are provided at work. Ground Person duties include ground-level pruning and ground-level trimming; also raking and digging and weeding and planting and watering. Ground Person duties include chipping and applying protective mulches and applying safe fertilizers; also collecting and hauling out debris, and loading crew vehicles. Ground Persons observe for any shrub or plant or hedge problems and inform crew leaders. The position is entry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
