- ***RFI Response*** The Truck Driver Helpers will be provided with equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, and manual pallet lifters. These tools do not require a license and will assist in the loading and unloading of various products, including boxes, cases, and pallets. The helpers will work with different types of trucks, including box trucks, semi-trailers, and flatbed trucks. The Truck Driver Helpers accompany the driver in the truck but are not involved in driving. Their responsibilities include overseeing directions, re-routing, managing GPS use, handling phone calls during the drive, updating delivery logs, and managing paperwork such as rate confirmation documents and bills of lading for each delivery. ***Original F.a.2*** Assisting Drivers with Deliveries A driver helper's main responsibilities include assisting the driver with loading and unloading the truck, delivering equipment or products to customers and clients, helping drivers navigate to each destination on schedule, and reco
