Job Duties:

Staff will be responsible for cleaning all guest rooms, cabins, restrooms, hallways, function rooms, food and beverage stations, and other public areas. Duties include dusting, polishing, sweeping, sanitizing, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, making beds, replenishing rooms with linen, towels, and toiletries, restocking restrooms, washing dishes, spot cleaning doors, walls, windows, upholstery, and curtains, keeping storage areas clean, and housekeeping carts stocked and organized. Light laundry duties. Reporting maintenance issues. Attending to guest needs.

THE DAILY WORK SCHEDULE IS 9 AM TO 5 PM. DAYS OF WORK SHIFTS ARE MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OR WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. OVERTIME HOURS ARE PAID AT 1.5 TIMES THE REGULAR HOURLY RATE OF PAY FOR HOURS WORKED OVER 40 PER WEEK UNDER WEST VIRGINIA LAW. A SINGLE WORK WEEK IS USED TO CALCULATE THE WAGE DUE. THE PAYROLL WEEK RUNS FROM MONDAY TO SUNDAY. EMPLOYEES ARE PAID BI-WEEKLY.
