- Hoist roofing materials to roofs, carry materials up ladders, remove old roof material, clean up work area and remove debris, maintain and clean tools and equipment, assist skilled roofers in replacing and installing roofs and roof related services. Must be able to work at height in excess of 15 feet above the ground
