Job Duties:

Aid experienced roofers in the lesser duties associated with the installation and/or repair of roofs. Observe all safety rules, including proper usage of personal protective/protection equipment. Assist in laying roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories. Begin to learn tasks associated with roofing systems, including shingles, roofing felt, asphalt and other roofing systems. Stay busy doing any work that will assist the crew manager or co-workers such as moving or holding tools and materials and using basic hand tools. Work under general supervision, receiving assignments in the form of work orders, inspection reports, or verbal instructions. Begin to see next steps in roofing systems, learning tasks associated with specific roofing systems. Follows the instructions of more experienced roofers.

Special Requirements:

Drivers license in 30-days. Clean driving record required. Must be unafraid of working at high elevations. Must be able to work in high heat conditions and perform physically repetitive movements (bending, climbing, kneeling). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
