Job Duties:

Designers select foliage for wreaths and other decorative arrangements. Typically from 8:00AM-12:00PM, designers review daily client orders and utilizing knowledge of plant properties and standard design patterns coordinate gathering of materials. Workers select appropriate grapevine, honeysuckle and muscadine vines and utilize pruning shears to cut the vines at ground level. Typically from 1:00 PM-5:00PM daily, designers use pruning shears to trim selected vines and then tie and shape the vines into specific and varied wreath and other decorative craft arrangements and art designs for retail customers. Entry level; requires supervision. On the job training provided.

Job requires working in a variety of weather conditions and frequent bending, grabbing, pulling, and lifting. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
