Job Duties:

*RFI Response* The Employer's food truck is a Jamaican Jerk operation. So dishes will be of this nature. For Example, Meat (Chicken, pork, etc.), Rice, Peas, Salad, and Plantains are often prepared using jerk seasonings or marinades or condiments and served to customers. The Employees will be expected to use standard kitchen tools and equipment to cut up foods, mix ingredients, and cook food. This may include forks, knives, whisks, pots, pans, cook tops, etc. *Original* Taking orders, preparing plates and serving customers, at daily food vendor locations and festivals and/or private events for a Jamaican Jerk food cart/truck operation. May operate basic cooking equipment and tools. Grills, stoves, etc., knives, shredders, graters, etc. Cleaning up kitchen and service areas as well as area surrounding vendor cart following events and loading/unloading equipment and items required for food vendor business.

IF CERTIFICATION IS NOT HELD, THEN NEW HIRES WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE FOOD VENDOR TRAINING SO AS TO BE LICENSED MOBILE FOOD VENDORS. DOES NOT CHANGE "TRAINING" DURATION ABOVE. Workers will typically work 5-7 hour shifts between the hours of 4:00am and 2:00am 5-7 days per week, with exact days/shifts varying.
