Job Duties:

Install, repair, and replace, semi-trailer parts in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and safety policies. Inspect and repair brake systems, hydraulic systems, low voltage electrical systems, suspension systems, semi-trailer body and chassis components, wheel end components, lift gates, and other steel and aluminum trailer components. Weld and cut components as necessary. Install or replace accessories. Examine trailers for defects, develop repair plans and prepare service reports. Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Experience noted above includes 3 years experience in semi-trailer or other relevant heavy equipment repair and basic welding and metal fabrication, including diagnostics and repair of air brake systems, heavy duty hydraulic systems, Semi-Trailer suspension systems, Semi-Trailer Wheel end components, Low voltage Electrical systems, steel and aluminum structural components, and Semi-Trailer body components.
