- Job Duties:
- Removes existing roofing and installs new roofing, siding, and/or gutters on residential properties, maintains and cleans up job site. Remove existing skylights and installs new skylights. Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures. Remove water or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials using pressure washers and hand tools. Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs. Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics elastomeric. Cover exposed nailheads with roofing cement or caulking to prevent water leakage or rust. Apply acrylic liquid and silicon to roof using brushes, sprayers, or other tools.

- Special Requirements:
- Requires six months of roofing experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. If driving, must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 30 days of hire (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
