Job Duties:
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, leaf blowing, rock garden install, decorate garden with stones, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. May also engage in ground level tree trimming/pruning tasks and cleanup. As per the Standard Occupational Classification Code 37-3011 for Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers: Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Use hand tools such as rakes, pruning saws, pruning poles, electric clippers, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Clean up limbs and leaves using a leaf blower and shredding of larger tree branches with a brush chipper. Load/unload/move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain, clean and repair equipment/tools when not in use.

Special Requirements:
Requires three months of previous landscape experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Standard work schedule 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, M-F, including 30 minute paid lunch. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Post-hire background check required of all new hires foreign and domestic. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
