- Job Duties:
- Unload sugar beets from a truck trailer. There is no use of tools or lifting required. The truck is unloaded with a push button on the side of the trailer that the Laborer pushes to activate the opening of the trailer gates, so the beets fall out the bottom of the trailer into the hopper. The Laborer slowly walks alongside the trailer as the beets fall into the hopper. Occasionally, beets will not make it from the trailer into the hopper. The Laborer will sweep the beets into the hopper with a shovel.
