Job Duties:
**RFI Response** The role of the cleaner is to clean rooms (Hotel Rooms, Condo and House bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens), Public Areas (hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms) and other work areas (Break Rooms and Offices) so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Disinfect equipment (Mops, brooms, baskets, cloths, and vacuums) using solutions (laundry soap and disinfectant sprays) and steam-operated sterilizers (washers and dryers and dish washing equipment) to ensure that they are clean and free of bacteria before being used again the next day. Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as cutlery, fixtures and fittings. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Occasional bending/ stooping/ squatting is required. Must be able to understand and speak English. Must be able to work any day Mon-Sun, average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 8 hr shift within 8 am to 10 pm.
